Elderhood in the Making

A COED GROUP DEVOTED TO THE DEEPENING OF ELDERHOOD

There have never been so many elderly and so few elders.

Elderhood is not something that automatically happens when we reach a certain age. It is something that is birthed, honed, deepened through ceasing to be a slave to our conditioning, especially after we’re no longer ascending the peak but are, however slowly, sliding down the other side of it. Elderhood is in-the-bones, savvy alignment with what doesn’t decline as we decline.

Elders are well-seasoned stewards of the deeply relevant. Their journey is one of endless discovery, heeding both the whispering of their mortality and the call to remain aligned with what truly matters.

This group is for those who want to make as wise-as-possible use of their last chapters, taking a stand that is not weakened by their aging, a stand that is of real service to one and all, especially the younger. This group is all about the bringing forth and deepening of real elderhood. Death, breakthrough shadow-work, full-spectrum healing, and the cultivation of intimacy with all that we are will be on the menu.

My Approach

My approach is intuitively integral, working with body, mind, emotion, and spirit through a spontaneously structured mix of cutting-edge psychotherapy, bodywork, emotional opening, shadow-work, and relational and spiritual deepening. All of this is conducted in the spirit of becoming more intimate with all that we are — high and low, dark and light, masculine and feminine, dying and undying. There’s plenty of rawness, plenty of revelation and deep opening and breakthrough, plus a sense of safety that’s solid enough to provide a powerful container — both crucible and sanctuary — for whatever work needs to be done.

Not sinking with the decline of your body
Making good use of all that happens to you
Coming fully alive, including emotionally
Softening without any loss of power
Both embracing and protecting the child within
Facing and making skillful use of your shame
Deepening your ability to be in truly healthy relationships
Opening more and more deeply to the Mystery
Stripping your anger of its aggression without robbing it of its passion
Deepening your courage
Connecting head, heart, and belly
Bringing your shadow (whatever you’ve disowned in yourself) out of the dark
Facing and working through your core wounds
Dream exploration (using dreams as portals for healing and awakening)
Shedding your armoring without abandoning your boundaries
Getting your inner critic off your back
Cutting through your fear of death
Developing more transparency
Finding a source of strength in your vulnerability
Relating not from your conditioning, but to it

This is for women and men 65 and up. The group will be limited to 7 participants.

PREREQUISITES

Previous work with me.
Having read Robert’s books Bringing Your Shadow Out of the Dark, Transformation Through Intimacy, and Emotional Intimacy.

LOGISTICS

Participation is by invitation only after submitting Client Application.
Tuition is $1100 for a three-day Zoom group, with a $400 nonrefundable deposit. The full balance is due a month prior to the group.
If you’re interested in attending and haven’t worked with me before, the first step is to complete our Client application form.
The next step is to have a Zoom session with me, to do some in-depth work and to make sure that the group is right for you. Each session is $225 for 45 minutes.
